SLUSHPUPPY IN THE STUDIO !!
Slushpuppy is currently in the studio with hard rock producer Chris Gibson (Quicksand, Dragpipe, Reach) working on their first official full length album. The LP will feature approximately 12 tracks including both current songs and some material that has yet to be performed at any of the bands' shows. Look for more information on the release in early February 2003, including plans for a wild CD release party !

"SLUSHPUPPY PART OF INDUSTRY SHOWCASE !" On Wed. Aug. 21st Slushpuppy will perform as part of a big industry showcase taking place at the infamous home of underground rock, CBGB's. Industry representatives from over 8 record labels have confirmed attendance and will be checking out these bands scheduled to appear: DOWNSTAGE, SLUSHPUPPY, SOUND OF SPEED, MADJUL, DOWNPORE and BASE 2. It's official, as of July, Slushpuppy will join the ranks of some of the
best rock bands in the country like Pantera, Il Nino and Coal Chamber by becoming officially sponsored by the Sidney Importing Company
for it's Jagermeister beverage.
